Fees and Charges

The following fees and charges apply to Boroughbridge Allotment Society.

Membership of the Boroughbridge Allotment Society - £4 per annum. Membership allows a person to apply for an allotment, join the waiting list, attend Society meetings, vote on issues arising and attend Society events. The Society encourages all people who regularly visit the allotment site to join the Society.  The Society has established  seed/bulb/plant schemes at discounted prices for members. Membership renewal is in April.

Allotment Plot Rental - 20p per square metre per annum. This equates to £50 per annum for a 250 square metre plot and £25 per annum for a half size 125 square metre plot. The rental is due each April.

Registration Fee - £25 one off fee when signing up for an allotment. The fee is a contribution to the allotment infrastructure.

Water Charges - Estimated at £10 per annum per plot. Contribution towards the metered charges for providing a water supply to the allotment site.  Payable each April.
